With a background that bridges mechanical engineering, robotics, multibody systems and elite sport, Jamie brings an energetic mix of technical curiosity, discipline and creativity to the Adelaide team. After completing his engineering degree at VIA University College in Denmark, Jamie discovered that acoustics was the perfect intersection of his lifelong love of physics, maths and music — and a natural place to apply the analytical mindset he’s honed across years of high-performance training.
At Resonate, Jamie is especially excited by electromagnetic and optimisation projects, where complex systems, modelling and problem-solving come together. He’s constantly searching for the “why” behind things – the fundamental reasons systems behave the way they do – and that instinct shapes his approach to engineering, teamwork and learning.
Outside the technical world, Jamie brings a human warmth to the office: jazz piano and alpha-wave playlists fuel his focus, office banter lifts his day, and he’s known for trying to make the people around him smile. His favourite sound – electricity arcing – says a lot about his fascination with the raw energy behind the world’s mechanics.
Jamie joined Resonate for the culture, collaboration and sense of humour, and for the chance to contribute to a team that’s committed to doing things differently. Whether he’s dreaming up high-end recording studios or refining the maths behind acoustic tools, he brings curiosity, adaptability and a genuine enthusiasm for learning to every project.
