Mathieu brings more than 15 years of international experience in environmental acoustics and transport infrastructure. With a Licentiate in Engineering (Acoustics) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and a Master of Advanced Studies in Acoustics from Toulouse, he pairs strong academic foundations with hands-on expertise.

His career spans major projects across Europe and Australia – from aircraft and airport-noise assessments with Swedavia, to delivering complex transport and infrastructure work with Scandinavian consultancies including Tyréns and Sweco. In Australia, he contributed to a range of environmental noise projects with WSP before joining Resonate.

Proficient in SoundPLAN, INM and other modelling tools, Mathieu specialises in environmental noise assessments for transport and energy projects. His experience includes railway upgrades, road infrastructure, and large-scale renewable developments such as BESS facilities and solar farms. He is known for producing clear, client-focused reports and pragmatic recommendations that help guide both design and operational decision-making.

Fluent in French, Swedish and English, Mathieu brings a global perspective and a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to every project. He is motivated by technically challenging work, strong collaboration and delivering outcomes that balance community expectations with real-world constraints.
