James Prunty’s interest in sound began at an early age. While his teenage years consisted of being the dominant noise source in the otherwise peaceful hills on the west coast of Ireland, his later years had him baffled as to how people can tolerate hostile noise conditions where they live, work, and play.

Discovering an acoustic engineering elective during his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering got him hooked on the combination of field work and data analysis to provide beneficial outcomes to clients. Having had a taste of architectural, environmental, and underwater noise; James is keen to plunge deep into the world of acoustics.
