Colin joined Resonate with a strong background in mechanical engineering and industrial asset reliability, following five years working at a chemical manufacturing facility in Scotland. Since completing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, he has worked across reliability and maintenance engineering roles focused on improving the performance and longevity of complex mechanical systems.

Starting as a Reliability Engineer, Colin investigated recurring equipment failures and implemented engineering solutions to improve plant performance and availability. He later progressed into a Maintenance Engineer role, managing the maintenance of more than $200 million worth of industrial assets, including chemical reactors, pumps, cooling towers, and heat exchangers.

Colin’s technical capability and practical engineering approach were recognised through the achievement of Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
