Enhancing our R&D capabilities: Welcome Ryan McKay

We’re delighted to welcome Ryan McKay as an Acoustic Engineer. Ryan brings over seven years of experience in R&D and acoustic laboratories. Following his PhD from the University of Auckland, Ryan spent three years designing low-noise UAVs, pushing the boundaries of noise reduction in aerial technology. He recently transitioned into consulting and brings his expertise to our Melbourne office.

 

A Fresh Perspective on Acoustics: Introducing Sebastien Fijac

Joining our Sydney office is Sebastien Fijac, a Graduate Acoustic Consultant with a passion for tackling complex acoustic challenges with novel solutions. Currently in the final stage of his Master of Architectural Science (Audio & Acoustics) at the University of Sydney, Sebastien holds a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology & Anthropology/ Media, Culture & Technology) from the University of New South Wales. This unique background allows him to approach acoustics from a multifaceted perspective, considering not just technical aspects but also the impact of sound on our society.

 

Expanding our Project Expertise: Welcoming Israel Carter

Israel Carter joins our team as an Acoustic Consultant with 2.5 years of experience. Previously working at WSP and interning at Arup and Mott Macdonald, Israel brings a wealth of experience across diverse projects, including transportation infrastructure, sports facilities, hospitals, and schools. His in-depth understanding of acoustic legislation across Victoria, NSW, and QLD ensures seamlessproject delivery. Israel has already contributed his expertise to notable projects such as the SPA level crossing removal, North East Link, and Mortlake and Gormandale Solar Farm and is based in our Melbourne office.

 

Strengthening our Foundation: Natasha joins the team

We’re excited to have Natasha Ryan on board as our new Finance and Practice Manager. With over 20 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Natasha brings a strong financial skillset to ensure the smooth operation of Resonate. Based in Adelaide, Natasha provides invaluable support to the team and is actively involved in the local netball community, demonstrating her dedication that extends beyond the workplace.
