With over eight years of professional experience as an acoustic consultant in both the United Kingdom and Australia, Alex Foster joined the Melbourne team in June 2018 and was appointed Team Leader of the South Australia team in September 2020.

With a diverse background in environmental, architectural and industrial acoustics, Alex has been involved in a range of high-profile projects in both the United Kingdom and Australia. In addition to his extensive experience delivering residential projects, he has also managed the acoustic design of various mixed-use and healthcare buildings, school and university teaching facilities, and conducted noise and vibration assessments for a significant number of gymnasium projects. Furthermore, he has produced a wide range of auralisations, and designed a variety of critical listening spaces, including radio broadcast studios for SBS in Australia, recording studios, and home cinemas.

With a keen understanding of the expectations of the end client and the needs of the design team, Alex takes great pride in delivering exceptional results throughout the project.
